Founders Fables Recap
Founders Fables today was awesome. This is my recap. Well it’s going to be a lame recap, because I swore an oath not to share much.
But it was awesome. Founders shared great information about how they overcame (or are overcoming) the hardest obstacles. Details about things not typically shared were more forthcoming than at any other venue I’ve attended in the last 6 years.
Investors and corporate development people share a lot more with each other on how deals are done and the structures used. It’s great when entrepreneurs are in a position to share and help others.
Also, given the more intimate group and air of sharing, the networking discussions during the breaks were much more meaningful and less pompous than at most events.
I don’t know how Sanjay was able to twist the arms of so many great speakers to come share with us Atlantans. But he’s onto something with this event.
What events have you found most useful to your startup? Where have you learned startup secrets (e.g. deal structures, equity splits, etc)?
