Touching Moments in a Time of Transition

AccelerEyes is going through a time of transition and growth. We are more than doubling our team size. We are also moving our headquarters in Atlanta to a new location. Several of our employees are moving to new homes, planning weddings, and making other personal transitions.

Times of transition are great for reflection. It is an opportunity to reset and re-calibrate. A great way to start a reflection is to search for the right questions to ask. Stuff like: “Am I happy? Do I make others happy?” or “Am I doing all I can to be my best self?”

Leaders can ask some of those questions of employees to encourage introspection where needed. Sometimes, employees are naturally reflective.

One of the most touching moments of our recent time of transition was an email our first employee (who’s been with us now for 4 years) sent out-of-the-blue internally to our entire team. It was so great, we asked him to share it on our company blog in a post entitled, Life at AccelerEyes.

We built AccelerEyes to be great for our customers and great for our own people. Emails like the one Vish sent to our team are great signs that we are achieving the later.

What transitions cause you to reflect? What questions do you ask yourself introspectively?
