Not Only Luck.

10 Days at the Atlanta Tech Village

Ten days ago we graduated from ATDC and moved out “on our own.” Well, “on our own” turned out to be surrounded by high-energy startups and the awesome work-in-progress that is the Atlanta Tech Village.

Here are some observations about that energy:

  • The co-working space on the second floor is abuzz with people and the spark of really early stage startups is always invigorating (we’ll try to keep things interesting on the established-company-3rd-floor too)
  • The Atlanta Ventures companies are each helmed by awesome entrepreneurs that are deeply committed, individually awesome, and collectively an impressive group
  • Even the facilities guys are impressive, quick responders, and problem solving
  • There are tons of visitors coming through the building to scout it out, keeping traffic of new faces high
  • The friday lunch was serendipitous
  • Running into Urvaksh frequently is cool
  • Running into a lot of Atlanta EO members is cool too

Despite my glowing report, please don’t move in! AccelerEyes might need more space someday soon, and it would be a shame if you took all the space left 🙂

What have your initial impressions been as you’ve interacted with ATV?
