Learn from Podcasts

I drive 1hr+ every day in my commute and have found podcasts to be a valuable way to spend my time engaged in thought and learning from startup pros. Here are podcasts I enjoy:

Startup Podcasts

  • Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders – a must experience podcast for startup founders; don’t try to listen to all of them; pick one, if it stinks move on; there are plenty that are great
  • This Week in Startups – from Jason Calcanis; only listen to the ones most appealing
  • This Week in Venture Capital – from Mark Suster; only listen to the ones most appealing
  • HBR IdeaCast – from Harvard Business Review; only listen to the ones most appealing
  • there are many other startup podcasts; I don’t have time for them

Personal Improvement Podcasts

  • Everyday Systems – great series on optimizing your life from the perspective of a computer scientist; make sustainable good habits

Interesting Podcasts

  • TED – have to sift through a lot of bad ones to find the nuggets, but the nuggets are great
