One Week with Feedly
When I started posting on Jan 1st, I used the first week to outline the tools I use to process incoming information. One of the most important tools I discussed is how I use Google Reader. When Google announced it was going to take down Reader, I decided to wait until the end to see which other readers emerged as the best option to take its spot.
After receiving a number of recommendations (especially a good one from my brother who is studying at the Univ of Utah), I decided to give Feedly a try this week. I love it even more than Google Reader.
The process of jumping to Feedly from Google Reader was super simple. All of my feeds transferred smoothly.
Feedly has elegant design in the web app and the mobile app. I like that the mobile app is made by the same team that made the web app. Feedly made it more obvious to me that I should group my feeds into folders and more intuitively let me know which of my feeds were dead. I was able to clean house.
After one week, I think I’m sold on Feedly.
Which feed reader are you using? What are your experiences?

Yeah, it’s solid. I didn’t really explore much else though, so I’m not sure if there is better to be had.

I enjoy the sleek look of Feedly. I have come across a few hiccups but overall it’s been a good replacement. Thanks for link up my post.
