Making the Most of a Tradeshow, #GTC14
The GPU Technology Conference is one of my favorite highlights each year. Today we started our first day of the GTC14 show at the San Jose Convention Center in California.
In general, I’m skeptical about tradeshows and their value relative to other forms of marketing. But if you treat them as a mix of fun, business, and community, they can be great. Here are things we are doing to make the most out of this week:
- We arrived early and are leaving late. We are enjoying the vacation and time together as a team in a different city.
- We are attending an ArrayFire Users Group meeting run by ArrayFire users, not by our own team. That’s going to be awesome!
- We are splitting up each night for dinners and finding new people to meet in our market.
- We are coordinated in our lead generation and follow-up activities to maximize the value of every conversation.
- We have a single person that is in charge of coordinating all of our calendars.
- We are using Whatsapp to internally communicate and be a little goofy.
What things do you do to have fun with your team at tradeshows?

Great to see all of you in strength 🙂 The booth, the logo and the team look great. Maybe you should blog on “meeting the faces behind AccelerEyes” and introduce the new faces sometime 🙂
Also, has the company officially changed names?
