My co-founder James Malcolm posted his productivity tools. He is the most productive and efficient person I know so when he posts things like this I pay attention.
Last week I wrote about the 9 “whys” of behavior. Knowing James, I think his “why” is “to master things.” He searches methodically for efficient ways to do everything and then repeats those processes until he’s exemplary.
During the business day, I’m guilty of letting myself become too distracted by the asynchronous inputs of life and the internet. I tell myself it’s just the nature of what I do. I like late evenings or weekends when most of my employees have left the office. Those are good moments for finding focused work.
In the last year, there have been numerous posts by Atlanta startup bloggers about the tools they use. Most of those focus on trendy or ergonomic tools. I like James post because it is hardcore about productivity.
What tools do you use to be productive?
