Blogging while Traveling

I just returned from a 5 night trip to the GPU Technology Conference. This was the first major trip I’ve taken since I started posting daily on Jan 1st. While on the trip, I produced 10 blog posts, including 5 personal posts and 5 posts for our company blog.

Here are some thoughts on blogging while traveling:

• Ideas flow freely during conferences, so it is actually easier to come up with topics to write about
• Writing daily recaps of highlights for the company blog was a great way to provide value to our market while also bringing our team together each night to discuss those highlights together
• Several of the posts were drafted out on my iPhone WordPress app while sitting through a few boring sessions
• It was tiring to write the posts each evening, but having a habit of daily blogging helps make it easier
