Not Only Luck.

Searching for Office Space

After a wonderful year in the Atlanta Tech Village, it is time for us to find a larger space in which to grow. In Q1, we are searching for a new home for our team. Having a great office is important for company culture.

Here are the things we are looking for:

  • Buckhead or Perimeter
  • 1500 to 2500 sq feet
  • One main open seating area (no private offices and no cubicles)
  • A few small meeting rooms or phone booth rooms
  • A breakroom
  • A hobby shop area – we are engineers with side projects and it would be nice to have a common space to work on those collaboratively
  • Close to a MARTA station
  • Great lease terms and price

Here is a sketch we did of an ideal layout:

Some of the best offices are sub-leases from landlords that had not contemplated offering a sub-lease in the past. If you know of any tenants with great spaces that might make a good sub-lease, let me know!

What priorities would you optimize for in an office layout?
