This is a dumb post.
After being around entrepreneurs the last 7 years I am convinced that they get an abnormally large number of speeding tickets. Do you think that is true?
Entrepreneurs often race fast cars or ride motorcycles. The risk taking mindset manifests itself in other areas. Our Atlanta EO Chapter recently held an event at the Atlanta motor speedway.
A few years ago I visited Tuscon AZ to meet a customer. I got 4 tickets totaling $1,000 mailed to my house for that trip from a camera that clocked my speed. Luckily I argued my way out of paying those.
Georgia has given me too many speeding tickets and I just found out CA is trying to give me a ticket from a rental car there back in March.
Really this post is purely about hoping to justify my bad driving through associating it with positive entrepreneurship values. What do you think, haha?
Try running up hills. The pain in your muscles halfway the slope cannot compare with the pain you get from receiving tickets.
Entrepreneurs tend to be fairly active too! “Work hard, play hard”
Invest in a radar detector. My next car is getting the built in the bumper variety.
I probably should. Do radar detectors still work?
Like a champ. The more advanced ones have camera locations and such.
