My favorite entrepreneur role models are not egotistical. They are rock stars. But they do not carry an air of superiority about them in their interactions.
Starting companies is a humbling experience. Ego has no place.
Ego can disrupt co-founder relationships, turn off customers and investors, and spill into poorly executed or distasteful marketing approaches.
Many entrepreneurs that are successful at one point hit a bad streak. Oftentimes, startups explode and then collapse. Flash in the pan stuff happens.
What are your thoughts on ego?
