They say that which doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. If we are in a tragic accident and avoid death, we are most certainly blessed.
I like a merger of the two statements: “Blessings Make Us Stronger.”
So…
I went to the ER yet again Sunday morning! A 3rd time in an ER in under 3 months for me. I was in an unexpected accident while driving my Jeep Wrangler.
I had major surgery. We are still figuring out all the things that broke from this accident. I have a broken ankle that received two screws, a broken fibula, gashed and surgically operated knees, a broken hip, and a broken hand. My face, arms, and body are lacerated.
I posted last week about my ER visits back in late June and early July related to coronavirus.
Here are post accident pics. I am grateful to be alive.
After this accident, I’ve had hundreds of friends and family reach out with love. I am grateful for the support.
In my mind, this hymn has been on repeat. I encourage you to take a break from your day and listen to it.
What a beautiful message! Sanctification comes by voluntarily yielding our hearts to God.
Lyrics are here.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love; Here's my heart, O take and seal it, Seal it for thy courts above.
Pair that song with Kanye West and you can merge two disjoint worlds into my title for this post.
Lyrics are here.
I don't know if you got a man or not If you made plans or not If God put me in your plans or not ... But I know that God put you in front of me ... And we'll do anything when the time's right ... I know I got to be right now ‘Cause I can't get much wronger
There are sins, mistakes, and accidents. I’ve had my healthy dosage thus far in my life. I’m ready for some peace and prosperity. We all are.
I am grateful for my experiences of all sorts. Blessings make us stronger for sure, especially the grandest blessing of all: life.
